PNAfrica Strengthens Partnership with the Parliament of Sierra Leone

The Clerk of the Parliament of Sierra Leone, Mr. Karmoh Conteh, has paid a working visit to the office of Parliamentary Network Africa (PNAfrica) a bilateral discussions with the Executive Director, Mr. Sammy Obeng, other staff of the organization.


The meeting aimed at strengthening collaboration on parliamentary openness, citizen engagement, and institutional capacity development. It also provided an opportunity to brief the Clerk on the progress of ongoing initiatives and PNAfrica’s continued support to the Parliament of Sierra Leone.

In his remarks, the Clerk of Parliament commended PNAfrica for its sustained partnership and technical support to the Parliament of Sierra Leone over the years. He reflected on Parliament’s progress in promoting transparency, strengthening legislative capacity, and improving relations with the media and civil society.

The Clerk further emphasized the importance of maintaining professionalism, accountability, and inclusivity in Parliament’s operations, while expressing his readiness to deepen collaboration on initiatives that enhance citizen participation and institutional effectiveness.
